Travellers from Singapore are required to adhere to 14-day quarantine

Putrajaya, 10 May 2021 - The government ordered every travellers who travels from Singapore into Malaysia under the Periodic Commuting Arrangement (PCA) scheme to adhere to 14-day quarantine instead of the normal 10-day period, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The Health DG said that the decision was made by the Malaysia National Security Council today.
According to him, the decision was based on reports by Singapore’s Ministry of Health. The reports indicate the presence of Variant of Concern (VOC) SARS-CoV-2 from South Africa, the United Kingdom, Brazil and India.
"Travellers from Singapore who enter to Malaysia for business purposes have to go through One Stop Centre (OSC) which is managed by The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA)," he said.
