Roadblocks all around Malaysia to make sure Malaysians adhere to the new SOPs.
Kuala Lumpur, 26 May 2021 - MKN clarifies that there is no curfew after 8 pm during the enforcement of MCO 3.0.
Under the stricter MCO, businesses are able to be operated until 8 p.m. except for services like clinics and pharmacies.
However, MKN did not come out with any SOPs that says whether or not the public has to be at home after 8 p.m.
This clarification is made due to the claims from some people saying that they were compounded because they were outside in the public after 8 p.m.
The claim also came with a viral video where a policeman was heard telling a person that they could be compounded for RM 2,000 because they were on the road before 8 a.m. without permission.
The claim however, was denied by the police.
