Covid-19: 377 cases require respiratory assistance

Kuala Lumpur, 26 May 2021 - Malaysia Health Ministry (KKM) informed the current status of Covid-19 in Malaysia as of 26 May 2021 via From the Desk of the Director-General of Health Malaysia.


As of today, 4,665 cases have recovered from the viral disease which totals up to 464,727 of recovery cases.


There are 7,478 new cases recorded with 7,473 of it are local cases and 5 are imported cases.


Out of the local cases, 6,913 are Malaysians while 560 are foreigners.


Up until today, active cases add up to 66,208 cases.


There are 756 cases that are located at the ICU. Among those, 377 cases require respiratory assistance. KKM also recorded 63 deaths.
