Another new record, 6,806 new Covid-19 cases today

The new Covid-19 cases once again recorded the highest figure today as expected which is an increase of 12% compared to yesterday (6,075) - MOH

Johor Bahru, 20 May 2021 - The daily COVID-19 cases today once again recorded the highest number in 24 hours with 6,806 new infections recorded making the total now 492,302.

This is the second day in a row the number of new cases recorded a record high and surpassed the 6,000 level.

According to the Director General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, Selangor continues to have the greatest number of daily cases at 2,277, followed by Kuala Lumpur (655), and Johor (654). (245 cases).
