6,509 new Covid-19 cases compare to 6,976 yesterday

Johor Bahru, 25 May 2021 - Director General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah informed that a total of 6,509 new positive cases were reported, which is slightly lower than the record high of 6,976 cases yesterday.

Noor Hisham said Selangor continued to record the highest daily number of cases in the past 24 hours with 2,049 cases.

It was followed by Sarawak with 530 cases, Johor and Kuala Lumpur each reported 468 cases, Kelantan (451), Penang (384), Kedah (348) as well as Melaka and Negeri Sembilan with 329 cases each.

Terengganu reported 263 cases followed by Pahang (257), Perak (231), Sabah (184), Labuan (171), Putrajaya (40) and Perlis (seven).
