Pre-Covid Ipoh adventures (Part 2)

After we had a feast for breakfast, we went to have deserts at Laksa Leaf Cafe.

When we saw the menu, we decided to order a bowl of Curry Laksa since we were doing an assignment on Chinese-Malaysian noodle dishes for TITAS.

The restaurant was quite quaint and calming with Nyonya style interior.

The foods that we ordered were Nasi Lemak Bunga Telang, Curry Laksa, three bowls of Ais Kacang (one with a scoop of vanilla ice cream), and Cendol.

Curry Laksa

Thick rice noodles with creamy broth.

This shot was taken candidly by me hehehe.

Traditional Ais Kacang with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cram on a hot day.

Diana scooped a spoonful as the ice melts into the brown sugar syrup.

Diana ate her last few spoonful before we went jalan-jalan around Ipoh.

A chill bowl of Ais Kacang and Cendol on a very hot day definitely quenched our thirst. We will definitely head back to Ipoh when the lockdown will be lifted.
